This instrument is suitable for use as a forceps to handle bone by gripping it effectively but also can double as a rongeur that can be used to cut or modify the bone. Additionally this instrument is of a lempert-type and is straight and features a 4.0 mm jaw.

This instrument is double-action and is slightly curved which allows the jaws to remain in alignment with the bony area it is being used upon while keeping the handle effectively out of the plane of surgery. Also the jaws are slightly scoop shaped which gives this instrument a unique way in which it can cut and reshape bone. It is available in six different jaws widths ranging from 3.0 – 8.0 mm in 1 mm increments making it well suited for any particular procedures or maneuver.
