Boehler Wire & Pin Extractor can be used in a variety of procedures to manipulate surgical pins and wire. Many orthopedic procedures such as repair of fractures or insertion of support after laminectomy procedures require the use of wire or pin. These added support confer additional stability to the bone and increase the speed of healing while reducing the damage done by trauma. This particular instrument can be used to insert, remove and reshape wires and pins as they are needed. This instrument is available in three different sizes to satisfy a variety of patient needs and surgeon preferences.
